Meet the Doctors
Dr. Westmoreland
Terry A. Westmoreland, MD, is CEO and Founder of Westmoreland Dermatology and Surgery Center.
Dr. Westmoreland is a native of Columbus, Mississippi. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then served in the United States Navy as an Under Sea Medical Officer before completing his residency in Dermatology at UAB.
He is also a certified diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, a member of the American Medical Association, and a member of the Prairie Medical Society.
He and his wife, Kim, have three children: Caleb, Carrie and Cason. They enjoy spending most of their free time outdoors golfing, fishing, and hunting. Dr. Westmoreland also serves in several areas in his local church.
Dr. Sharp
A native of Louisville, Mississippi, Dr. Misty Sharp joined Westmoreland Dermatology in 2007.
Dr. Sharp graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University and earned her MD degree at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas. After practicing for a year in Arkansas, Dr. Sharp returned to UAMS and completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology.
Dr. Sharp is board certified in both dermatology and dermatopathology and is a certified diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an associate of the American Society of Dermatopathology. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the Prairie Medical Society.
Dr. Sharp and her husband, Jason, have two boys, Todd and Parker.
